Engagement Description

The recruiting team is seeking a Product Lead who will steer the strategy, design, and rollout of Fingo Africa’s stablecoin-powered payments experience. This leader will operate as the “CEO of the product,” owning everything from market discovery and regulatory alignment to multi-country launches and global expansion.

The role suits a mid-senior Product Manager with strong fintech depth and hands-on exposure to the crypto ecosystem; someone who understands how stablecoins, wallets, liquidity partners, and fiat rails really work in practice, and who is ready to step confidently into a broader leadership mandate.

Deliverables

1. Product Strategy & Roadmap

• Define the end-to-end product strategy for Fingo’s stablecoin-native payment experience.
• Translate regulatory requirements, FX realities, and on-the-ground insights into compliant, intuitive user journeys.
• Build MRDs, PRDs, and launch plans across key functional pillars: on-ramps/off-ramps, card issuance, and cross-border flows.
• Drive a phased rollout across markets:
  • MVP: Nairobi
  • Beta: Six African markets
  • Expansion: Global markets

2. Execution & Delivery

• Lead cross-functional squads spanning engineering, compliance, treasury, operations, and partnerships.
• Oversee MVP pilots, multi-market betas, partner integrations, and iterative improvements.
• Coordinate technical integrations with custodians, wallet providers, exchanges, PSPs, and banking partners.
• Ensure all product surfaces adhere to AML/KYC, FX, and stablecoin compliance frameworks in collaboration with legal and compliance teams.

3. Ecosystem & Partner Management

• Identify and evaluate strategic partners across liquidity, card issuance, and on/off-ramp flows.
